Position Snapshot

As a HAVN Infusion Therapy RN, you’ll coordinate, deliver, and monitor specialty infusion therapies in patients’ homes. You’ll collaborate with physicians, specialty pharmacies, and our care coordination team to ensure safe, effective treatment for patients receiving IVIG, biologics, hydration, and anti-infective infusions.

You’ll serve patients throughout the Houston Metro area, bringing advanced treatment home while supporting their dignity, comfort, and independence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer home infusion therapy (IVIG, biologics, hydration, anti-infectives, and specialty injectables)
  • Perform vascular access care including peripheral, midline, and central line management (PICC, port, tunneled catheters)
  • Assess and document patient condition, tolerance, and response during infusion
  • Manage adverse reactions and escalate per protocol
  • Complete real-time documentation using AlayaCare on company-issued tablet
  • Educate patients and caregivers on medications, side effects, and home safety
  • Coordinate with pharmacies, prescribers, and case managers for refills and renewals
  • Participate in QAPI initiatives, case reviews, and annual competency validation

Qualifications

  • Current Texas RN license in good standing
  • Minimum 1 year of IV infusion or acute care experience (home infusion preferred
  • Skilled in PICC and port access, infusion pump operation, and IV medication management
  • Valid driver’s license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation
  • Strong communication, clinical judgment, and documentation skills
  • Spanish and/or Vietnamese fluency a plus

Schedule Options

  • Full-time field – 30+ visits/week (Mon–Fri + rotating on-call)
  • Weekend Baylor – Sat/Sun + one weekday, paid for 40 hrs
  • PRN supplemental – pick up visits in your zip code, paid per encounter
